Because of COVID, our Homeless Shelter Program is not able to operate the same way as we have in previous years. Volunteers can help us on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 5-7pm as we serve food and provide hygiene and warming supplies. Room in the Inn has many ways to volunteer.
One of the ways you can volunteer with us is to help serve at our Intake Center, which is where each night of shelter for our guests begins.

The Center is open seven days a week, from 3:30-6:30pm, from November 1st through March 21st.
Our volunteers help with new guest orientation, hand out supplies, provide smiles, hot cups of coffee or hot cocoa. It is or goal to make every single guest that walks through our doors to feel like they matter.
A team of 7 volunteers is needed each night. To become a volunteer, you must attend a short training first. Once you have attended the training, you will be able to sign-up for the shifts you would like to serve. Volunteers must be 18 years or older.
During our season, we hold volunteer trainings once a month. Check our FB page for the dates of our trainings.
